Cymru X support for .cym domain name

Cymru X urges you to sign the petition calling for a .cym domain name. The campaign continues.......

dotCYM - Welsh without Borders

.cat for the Catalans; .aero for airlines; .fk for the Falkland Islands
but ... wot - no .cym?

The dotCYM bid http://www.dotcym.org/  calls for international status on the
web for the Welsh linguistic and cultural community. The bid calls for
the formation of a Top Level Domain named .cym for websites which are in
Welsh or of Welsh interest but in another language e.g. English or Spanish.

Why do we need .cym?
* Because we exist.
* Because a succesful dotCYM bid will be a massive boost for the Welsh
language on the internet and will be part of articulating a vibrant
Welsh expression in both Welsh and English.
* Because it would confirm that the internet is truly a world-wide and
truly international platform.
* Because it would give our community international status.

Sign the petition. Now is the time to show the world and the authorities
that Welsh and Welshness are communities for the future. Ask you friends
and colleagues to sign. Sugges your club, union, school, business,
authority and the Assembly support the dotCYM bid.
