Welsh Independence by 2020?

An article in The Times suggests that many European countries are on their way to Independence... Wales is one of them.....

An article  by Jeremy Page and Richard Beeston in the Times today 3/6/06 suggests that Wales could become independent by 2020. The article underlines the fact that minorities in the Basque country, and Kurds in Turkey aspire to independence for their peoples. Montenegro has recently voted in favour of Independence and has set a precedence for small mini -states and regions to fight for Independence and for self governance. The authors of this article discuss the fact that Independence for some European countries could spark fresh instability in already unstable regions, but they go on to say that places such as Scotland are closer to Independence now than at any time since the Act of Union 300 years ago.

 Independence for Wales and self governance is one of Cymru X's cornerstone policies. We want to be able to make decisions in Wales for the people of Wales without being told what to do by London Labour.
